About Us
Sword and Board Hobby Cafe began as an experiment back in Junior High. A couple of my friends and I set up a little establishment in an unused gazebo where we would hold card tournaments and play whatever board games we had brought on that particular day.

It was a lot of fun, and it persisted throughout the years until it became something of a tradition for all of us to get together and play board games.
Of course, we would also get together to play video games, card games and even tabletop RPGs.

Eventually, we ended up going our separate ways for a while as we went through the corporate ladder. That said, we never really forgot about our tradition, and we would do our best to reunite to play more board games.
Eventually, this turned into an idea - as my girlfriend at the time would make food for us whenever we got together to play.
My buddies and I talked it out over a game of Warhammer, and we decided it was time to turn our tradition into an all-out business!

With a bit of capital and some legwork, Sword and Board Hobby Cafe was born.
We provide players near and far with board games of their choice, as well as a couple of rare ones to boot - all while serving up our own special recipes.
Today, our services have expanded to the online space, allowing people a world away to purchase our board games!

Do we have to schedule beforehand to play board games?
Scheduling a table typically is not needed, as we are more than happy to accommodate you as soon as you enter our doorstep!
That said, for those who want to get into tabletop roleplaying, it would be a good idea to let us know beforehand, as it can often take a long time to set up and play. We want your experience to be as hassle-free as possible.
